The worst disaster this year was the tsunami .. in 10 years, tsunamis have occurred 2 times. it has claimed many lives. Japan may have the Longest Recorded history of Tsunamis, the caused by the 2004 earthquake and tsunami event mark it as the most devastating of its kind in modern times, killing around 230,000 people. in 2011, a tsunami struck again. This earthquake was 9.8 Richter scale caused almost everywhere in Japan suffered damage.
